You do not need to worry about having cash available everyday to pay for food, as your card acts as a debit card for university operated restaurants and coffee shops.

How does the card work?
The card allows you to purchase meals, drinks or snacks at a range of campus operated restaurants and coffee shops. Special offers are available in the outlets solely to discount card holders - giving you even more value and benefits
For an initial contribution of £200 to activate your card you will receive 220 units, giving you an instant 10% extra
1 unit = £1.00
Unused credit will be carried forward during your time at Lancaster University.

How do I apply?
It's easy: application forms are available from

just complete the application form and send it with payment to:

How do I Pay
Payment can be made by cheque, debit card, credit card and cash (please do not send cash through the post)
Can I Get A Refund?
If you discover that the scheme does not meet your needs, you are entitled to a refund. Refunds are calculated as the value of your card minus free units less £25 administration fee.
